babo-Ratings

yo. Last night i couldnt sleep at all ( i slept the afternoon) and was awake until 4:30 h in the morning........
in the night i was thinking of things for Babo and i tried to do a formula which gives the players ratings. I already have succeded in the first things for it, but the formula isnt finished yet. For now, its only for FFA and it works like this:

1st. All players start with the same Rating ( e.g. 1000). With my formula (which i will put as picture because it's quite complicated ) the players have an expectated rank they should earn in average. With this average rank, the average score they should get is computed.
Now, the real results come in the formula and will be compared to the expected results. If they are better, the Rating for the player increases, if its worse, the Rating decreases. For FFA its wuite simple, because the aim of every player is the same : KILL 'EM ALL!

For CTF it's much more complicated. First this is ofc because the aims are very different. A defense player will kill often and die seldom, but will probably not score (except Gero in the match ). An offense player kills and dies often, but can score. maybe there should be team ratings. I will think about it, but pls tell me what you think about it

I think that a stats system would be fine. Be you can't do this on your own. I hope in babo3 there will be some kind of a stat system, like in Battlefield 2.

Like:

Games played, win/lose ratio, kills/deaths, scores, returns, time spent and so on...

i thought about ratings also and came to this conclusion: you can't have one final number witch will tell you how good are you. it is only possible to do this for ffa but for ctf it is too complicated to put a thing like teamwork into numbers. your formula for ffa is good idea, but like yao said, you can't do it all alone so look at this link (you have to be registried):

and for ctf, i would like to have one day in babo some automatic program that gather all the games from all the servers and makes a lot of numerical calculates so you can see a hole bunch of different statistics about you.
